SitePulse offers two types of locations to support different use cases: Insight Locations and Traffic Locations. Each account can access an unlimited number of both types. You can choose the appropriate location type based on the type of insights you want.
Use the guidelines below to help you decide which option best fits your needs.
Insight Location
- Represents places where people tend to stay and move around, such as stores, restaurants, stadiums, and event venues.
- Focuses primarily on pedestrian and visitor activity, including lower-speed movement patterns. Drive-by traffic data is included but is typically secondary.
- Allows you to draw a radius around the location to analyze activity within that area.
Traffic Location
- Represents points near busy roads or highways, such as billboard locations or roadside installations.
- Focuses on high-speed vehicle and commuter traffic.
- Allows you to select a specific road segment to analyze traveler movement and volume.
Use Case Examples
- Commercial Real Estate Space: [INSIGHT LOCATION] Use visitor demographic and behavior data to understand who visits the plaza and identify suitable tenants.
- Highway Billboard: [TRAFFIC LOCATION] Analyze when and who sees your billboard to optimize ad placement and campaign timing.
- Car Dealership Near a Highway: [INSIGHT LOCATION + TRAFFIC LOCATION] Use an Insight Location to analyze dealership visitors, and a Traffic Location to measure highway exposure in a separate report.
