You can always compare up to 4 purchased packets across different data tiers at no additional cost.

Here are some real life use cases of the comparison feature:

• Same location, see how the trend changes through four quarters of the year.
• Benchmark your store against three more competitors nearby.
• Compare the lunch, dinner, weekday, and weekend crowds.
• Select the best location for your next chain store.

1. Understand Comparison Rules

   Since Insight Location packets and Traffic Location packets contain different types of data, so they’re compared separately.

   • Insight Location packets can only be compared with other Insight Location packets
   • Traffic Location packets can only be compared with other Traffic Location packets

   Within the same type, you can compare across tiers (e.g., Core, Demographics, Advanced Tools). The comparison will display only the data included in each selected packet.

2. Purchase Additional Packets (If Needed)

   If a packet isn’t available for comparison yet:

   1. Locate the site name
   2. Click the blue icon next to the site name
   3. This will open the Site Details page

   From here, you can review and purchase additional packets.

3. Find and Select Packets

   1. Use filters to sort through your purchased packets
   2. Look for the packets you want to compare

   Tips: Green icons in the "Data" column indicate which data tiers are available for each packet.

4. Add Packets to the Comparison Shelf

   To build your comparison:

   1. Click the "Set As" button on each packet you want to compare
   2. Customize the order of the packets as you wish
   3. For packets with Advanced Tools tier, select it for multiple slots to compare between different time filters
   4. You may add 2, 3, or 4 packets to the comparison shelf

5. Customize Your Comparison

   1. For Advanced Tool packets: you may apply a time filter to the demographics, such as Sat.-Sun. or 16:00-18:00
   2. For visual clarity, apply differnt color schemes

6. Generate and Download

   1. Click Generate Comparison. Rendering time may vary depending on the amount of data selected
   2. Once complete, select Download to save your report

   Note: the core insights within the same Advanced Tools packet will remain consistent in the comparison, reguarless of the time filter.
